It was given to me by Rebecca, one of the most precious people I know.

Oh My...An acceptance speech?.... What?.... I wasn't prepared.... Well O.K.....here it goes...

I'd like to thank my husband,who refers to himself as a single man"thanks to Blogger",

I'd like to thank my children for supplying me with endless"blogging fodder",

I'd like to thank Dell- without you I'd have no computer on which to blog,

and most of all I would like to thank God for sending me the most wonderful "LIFE" support group I have ever known. Thank you!

Characteristics for the Smile Award:

1. Must display a cheerful attitude (not necessarily at all times--we are all human). O.K. I'll admit...I am pretty darn perky.

2. Must love one another. Ummm.. Do I get to pick the "One" or is this like a random thing?

3. Must make mistakes. I did make a mistake ...Once!

4. Must learn from others. I learn from others ALL the time...I may not tell

anyone about it,but I do.

5. Must be a positive contributor to blog world. I am not sure if I do this..but if I do...that's really cool!

6. Must love life. Since the day I took my first breath.

7. Must love kids. WHAT!! Kids! WAIT A MINUTE.....Cut!.... Stop the cameras!.... Get the Producer in here!.......NOBODY SAID ANYTHING TO ME ABOUT KIDS!........Well..... this is just great....ppfffftttt.....kids!

NOW... for the good part... I am totally bummed that I could not pick 20...But I am always one to follow rules( NOT!)... So, here it goes.... The 5 Lucky Gals are... Drum Roll, Please................

Sharon at Bai Li Makes 3 , because she's thoughtful, she's graceful, she has a really good looking husband, beautiful kids, and when I grow up.....I want to be just like her.

Jenna at Waiting For Baby Panda Bear, because she takes great pictures, she's always got my back, I could just eat those kids of hers up, and she knows that my "Partridge Family" music drives her husband INSANE...and she plays it anyway!

Chelley at Live Fully, Laugh Often, Love Deeply because she is my "Sista from Down Unda",she loves a cowboy, she reads people better than anyone I know, and when she makes a commitment...she jumps in with both feet. I learn more from her than she will ever know.

Sara/Sofa at Precious Monkeys & Little Wonders because she is NEVER afraid to "grab the bull by the horns", she ain't perfect and dang proud of it, she has shared her "adoption up & downs" no holds barred, and when I look at her...I see myself.

Billie at Hearing Music Amongst The Noise because her husband has better hair than I do,

she share her ups & downs with a reckless abandon, and her kids are HILARIOUS!

H.P. at Frogs and Bees because she is my Home-girl, she can give any Southern Belle a run for her money, she is gracious and kind, and she really likes her kids chickens...even though she acts like she doesn't.

Yeah! I know.....I picked 6...So sue me!
