PRINTED and PAMPERED!

We made it to the USCIS building a little early and the lobby was EMPTY!

Not a soul in sight.

We ring the bell and out comes our sweet little FBI
field agent.

"HEYYYY!!", she said, " Girl! Where ya'll been?!" "You got your baby, yet?"

We chit-chatted about our 14 year old boys, Exchanged some web-site info,
and had some prints done.

We were in and out in 20 minutes!

Yeah, BABY! That's what I'm talkin' bout!

Oh -how I love our USCIS offices.

I was under the impression that our approval was going to expire.
So when we had our HS updated for the country change -we just sent in everything:
HS, check, applications...everything.

Got back the sweetest letter(within the week) saying that they were returning
our check and that our prints had been scheduled and that the approval was
good until January-2009, AND that there was no need to send another HS
because the updated HS would be good as long as I filed before January 2, 2009!

THRILLED! BLESSED! BLESSED! THRILLED!

I wish that every USCIS office in this country would show half of the
consideration that the adoptive parents get from our USCIS agents.

They are precious. I have vowed that each agent will get a card and
a photo from us, when we bring our child home.

One officer said that she would love to see pictures of these kids, but that
she rarely does.

Maybe, I'll start a trend. :)

Then we did a little T-R-U shopping and my sweet husband took me
to my favorite Sushi Bar.

I told Trish(earlier) that there is nothing I love more that gazing at my hottie
husband over a table full of Sushi...

O.K. Maybe a few things I love more......But not many.

AnyHoo...It was a pretty cool day.

All I have to do is the "Dossier Thing" on Thursday...............

then BRING ON THE BABY! or babies-you know-which ever.

Thanks for all the sweet comments left on the earlier post.

I love you guys!

Peace.

  5. ok. this was not encouraging. our usicis office really stinks..and that is not the word i want to use. I had fingerprints in November. Our I600a was done last August. Do we have an I171H yet? NO! What in the world are they doing in that office?

So glad the appt. went well. You are blessed, girl. Our fingerprinting went quick but the people there were hardly personable.

Now... we wait for good news. :)

    Love,
