Day 2 Universal and One Less Tooth!

UNIVERSAL!
Land of WOLVERINE and the HULK ROLLER COASTER!

10 Kids- 5 boys and 5 girls...
2 double strollers and a diaper bags full of juice boxes..
We have arrived.

First stop- The Land Of Dr. Seuss
Horton called ahead to make sure that the weather was perfect for us.
Note the Blue Sky in the background,

Caleb and Colton decided that they would take ADAM on the Carousel.
This would HAVE to make them absolutely irresistible to any female within a 5 mile radius.
If this didn't work ..they would move on to " PLAN B".. REBEKAH!

Speaking of Rebekah-
The older kids wanted to ride the " One Fish- Two Fish" ride and she wasn't
"THIS HIGH" so she had to sit in the stroller and watch.

Morgan and Rachel seem to be having fun ....

Caleb and Colton seem to be having fun.......

Rebekah- Not so much.
This was the first of many temper tantrums that Rebekah
would throw through out the day.
She obviously doesn't "do" crowds or strollers OR siblings OR PARENTS.
Ben and Cade BEFORE they were drenched by the fish.

Caleb decided that HE would be the "Knight in Shining Armor"
and take Rebekah to the Land of Lorax.

HAPPY HAPPY!
JOY JOY!

Rebekah wanted to ride the motorcycle.
Caleb to the rescue!
He's going to be a great dad!

Cade on the wall!
This kid LOVES to walk on walls, rails,benches...you name it!
Today- his Middle Name has been
"Get Down Before You Fall And Break Your Arm"!
He just smiles and says, "Yes Ma'am".
ALL B-O-Y!
He has made us laugh all day..

If you look closely at the sign , you will see that it says
HOGSWORT!
Oh Yes! You guessed it!
We were about to enter the
land of POTTER!

They have been talking about this/these rides for a month.
Look at this set up.
It is a sight to behold.

The train

The Little Piggies that guard the gate.

I know this is supposed to be the school..but I just sat and looked up-
pretending that I was a queen and this was my house...that just made it more fun...
for me, anyway. :)

This is a picture of Adam trying to calm Rebekah during Tantrum #2.
She couldn't ride the Harry Potter Ride...Poor Baby.
Apparently, Universal refuses to allow any 21 month old to ride
a roller coaster.
Who knew?

Rachel could not ride the BIG Harry Potter ride,
but she was tall enough for the Roller Coaster-
Nope! Not a typo- ROLLER COASTER.
This is her face AFTER her Daddy brought her back to me.
She LOVED it.

They are somewhere in there!
Just look for a really cute guy sitting beside a REALLY excited 7 year old.

One last picture!
I really cannot believe how MASSIVE this thing is-
I loved it..seriously.

Tantrum #3.
Adam had the NERVE to fall asleep on HER side of the stroller-
soooo....

We put Adam in a stroller ALL be himself.
Tuckered Out!

The T-Rex was calling , so we headed to Jurassic Park!

You will notice that everyone in this photo is 10 and under.
The teenagers decided that they could get more "roller coaster" action
if they ditched us....so they did.
The little kids had no complaints.
THEY had control of the map and SHREK and the SIMPSONS were calling their names.

Last, but not least,
Mary lost her first tooth, just before we loaded up to leave the villa.
After 30 seconds of Post traumatic stress syndrome- she decided that it was going to be "O.K." cause she would just " grow a new one".
So- How was your day?

  1. so we're not the only family dealing with a 20-something month old throwing tantrums? your day sounds like a day at our place - except without all the cool rides. :)
