Today as I was walking through my living room I saw Ben
reading a book.
Huge for Ben.
He doesn't like to read.
He would much rather you read it to him....Or just see if the book has been made into a movie
then he could just watch it instead.
We usually have to bribe him to read aloud
and even then ..he's not real happy about it.
When I turned the corner and asked "what are you doing?"
he said, "uuuuhhhhh reading......"
ME- " Reading or Looking at the pictures???"
BEN- "Reading....I CAN read , you know?!"

A, I know where you're coming from....I could insert a picture of Owen into this post and he would fit perfectly;-)....He would much rather have me read to him, so we've made a deal that I read one page and then he does, and we get through the book that way.

I think that it is so GREAT!!! I can so relate! I love reading I just hope my kids will have the same passion as me!
