ReplyDeletefirst of all, NO, tell me NO I didn't read the new zealand post right. the china fee did NOT go up to $9,000. right? that was just for the nz agency? it just went up on jan 1 to $5300, right? please, please, tell me no to the $9000!
second, carry on only. really? it's possible? how big, or should i say small is a carry on? what is the biggest size carry on i can buy? i'm willing to try. it's difficult enough getting our huge suitcase into our van. i really can't imagine taking it in/out of hotels across china. i need all info on how to go carry on only. send me ideas! julia.
and yes, the wait is crazy unbearable at times. we have had our referral since march. MARCH. julia.
Don't panic. We saw our son in our "welcome to the adoption agency" packet. So we had a referral before we even started our homestudy or done anything. So, it's all been a bit backwards in our case. The thing that threw our original time frame off was that we didn't the $ to start our homestudy for about 6-8 weeks and thennwe waited on CIS for more than 3 months. CIS was the worst part. Uggh. I swore that China could NOT be worse than our gov't agency. It was that bad. julia.
