If You Could Have 1 Christmas Wish

Just 1

No matter how BIG or small
(Besides World Peace)

What would it be?

Peace.

  1. I would wish for our family to be settled and financially secure-I know this may seem selfish to some, but I am so tired of moving around and tired of worrying everyday about how we will get by. So, if I am being selfish I am sorry, but I am thinking of my kids.

  2. i think that is a wonderful wish of a mother. I do not think it is selfish at all.

  3. A bigger house! And to not work! I know you said one but I couldn't decide. Those are my selfish ones. But my unselfish one is for a stable economy. While I personally have not seen effects of this YET, there are lots suffering from it.

  4. For China to speed things up and REALLY be quick about finding homes for ALL the kids who wait. (No more of this "paper-ready" mumbo jumbo!)

Hmmm.....there wouldn't actually be a whole lot of "finding" involved in finding homes would there? I know quite a few people waiting and waiting. Maybe what I'm wishing for is for China to care more about making sure all their orphans find homes than anything else. Then, I'm quite certain, the wait would decrease.

  5. Besides everyone accepting the love, forgiveness, and salvation of Jesus Christ....I would wish that every child would have a LOVING, secure forever family...that there would be no orphans!

    :)

  7. I wish we were (like Lynn) financially secure. It would definitely be less stressful and I would adopt again!

    Merry Christmas!

  8. Good question!

What first comes to mind is to find out from our agency we have been matched with our daughter.

Sounds like you're a Josh Groban fan too......Ooooo...that would be another wish ....to see him in concert;-).

  9. I realized that I hadn't answered this.
A few things came to mind. I would wish for my own Island ...with a house on it...and a generator....
    no...I like drive-thru too much.
Drive thru....Yeah! I would wish for a Mercedes to drive when I did not have to drive the 12 passenger van...no wait ..I ALWAYS have to drive the 12 passenger van.
World Pea...no can't use that one.
End world hunger...Yeah that is a good one but as long as the Love of Power is greater than the Power of Love that ain't gonna happen...
So I decided to wish for Godly spouses for ALL of my children(as many as that may be).
I wish for Christian men who will give their last breathe defending my daughters and their children and for Godly women who love my sons and their children MORE than they love themselves.
That my children would look for those qualities & think they are as important as I do.
That is my wish. Probably sounds crazy, but for some reason I obsess over my grandchildren NOT going to church.

    THE END
