Monkey Kings turn 2!

The boys turned 2 on the same day Mary Elizabeth turned 3.

I wondered what they were doing.

If they had a party ? If they even knew that it was their birthday?

As you can see, they DID have a party!

These Ayi's LOVE these kids.

I was glad to see these pictures.

They look so tiny in these high chairs.

As my gran-maw would say,
"Those boys need some biscuits!"

We haven't heard a thing about our request to
adopt them, so Karla is sending us a Special Needs
questionnaire today.

We feel like we need to get a move on.

I ain't gettin' any younger!

I hope that they are adopted ,soon.

It is heartbreaking that so many children wait,
when there are people waiting in line to love them.

Makes no sense. No sense at all.

Peace.

  2. How cute are they! You are so right, there are so many that will just continue to sit in the orphanages. It is a shame.

  3. Amen sista!! Heartbreaking is the perfect word. Thank God those little men look well cared for... I am so glad they had a party for their birthday!! (Although I think a cake baked by Mary Elizabeth in her underwear, would be much better.) :)

We filled out Lifeline's SN checklist too. They are a good agency.

If these boys weren't meant to be with you all, there must be someone pretty special waiting. :)

Love ya & I'm praying for you ALWAYS

  4. Couldn't have said it better myself. Some days I just want to get someone on the phone and give them a piece of my mind. But, I don't speak Mandarin, so I go back to packing. Probably a better idea anyway!

I am happy to see that they got a birthday cake. Every child deserves to be made a big deal of on their birthday! I'm praying they spend their next birthday with YOU! :)

  6. So happy to see the boys got a special celebration for their birthday! Praying you'll hear 'good' news after the Olympics are over and the CCAA gets back to business....hopefully at break-neck-speed! Hey, a girl can hope, right?

I drove over about a month ago and we spent a few hours going over our dossier.
She makes me feel peaceful. I like her , A LOT.
We are happy that we chose to use LL. Jennifer is the sister of a friend of ours,so we feel good about it.
I'm just ready to get a move on!
