Yes -I have done this. This is a picture of some the kids and I did.
If you look closely, the one Hannah put her name on almost looks camo.
The longer you leave them in the dye, the darker they are.
***One important hint: You have to use vinegar instead of water.
I like apple cider vinegar, but I am sure any will do.
I would suggest boiling & dying a few and see if you like the colors.
If not ,you can make egg salad. :)

ReplyDelete1 question about home schooling - how do you do it with 3 kids, 3 year old, 5 year old and 6 month old. What do you do with the 3 and 6 month old while you are teaching??? Or am I thinking too black and white?
Also if you want to switch into the school system, is that easy to go since you have no records?
I feel very drawn to this much like adoption...so..maybe it's God's will.
