OK so we have gotten a jump start on the SEASON-
BUT we LOVE Christmas around here!

Look how excited they are about the tree in their rooms!
If it were up to me..we'd skip THANKSGIVING all together.
I mean how many times can you make a "hand" turkey and color it?!
Nope! Christmas is the time for the Thaggards.
We have already started playing Christmas music and
Adam and I do a mean"Baby, Its Cold Outside".
Mary & Rachel admire their handy work while Daddy takes a picture.
You don't see Adam gazing up at the tree
because he is in Hannah's room helping her.
After all the little trees were decorated the kids turned off the lights and
watched the multi-colored lights twinkle.
Mary asked "How many days til Christmas??? Do we have cookies?"
They scurried off to the den for a little "Rudolph and Frosty" action
and then they happily readied for bed.
No one wants to make the naughty list for whining.......
Oh Yeah...Christmas is the Season for the Thaggards.
What a great idea to have 'personal' Christmas trees in their rooms!! You are such a fun mama, Andrea!! I think I'll steal this idea....I know the kids will love it...maybe other than the lights I'll have them make their own decorations...a little paper, glitter, strung popcorn, cranberries....what do you think???

Riley has had her tree up in her room since September..you are behind in her world! Fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! i would love to get a jump start on christmas decorating, but my mom's coming for thanksgiving and we are going to decorate with her the day after. so i need to wait a few more weeks! :( early decorating seems to be a theme this year. our neighborhood is already decorated!
