The kids and I decided to take a road trip.
We wanted to visit Great Maw and Great Paw.
The kids wanted a picnic.
I spread the quilt out and Ben said" you DO realize this is going to get dirty, right?".
I am sure you notice the tombstone in the background.
It is the resting place of my grandmother.
She was the first to be placed in our family cemetery.
PawPaw came down to join us and we sat and enjoyed a nice lunch.
Adam was checking out Great Paw.
I forget how pretty it is here. Green grass for miles.
Rachel would just sit and look & then she would get up and run around.
This place just does that to a person.
You just never feel the need to get in a hurry about anything.
I miss it.
I think Caleb had the hardest time.
He misses Great Maw.
He misses this farm, he misses his cousins and aunts and uncles.
The other kids haven't spent as much time here as he has......
we are going to have to do something about that.
The kids are giggling because PawPaw" broke out into song"
while I was taking the picture.
He is hilarious and doesn't like having his picture made"if you warn him ahead of time".
It's best to just snap away...but he let me get a few.
Adam ran around until he was about to drop.
Look how green this grass is.............Mine is brown!
Rachel loves the wide open spaces.
Kissing bye.
Then we made our way to Dad's.
The kids find the go-kart.
Hannah learning to drive.
The big kids get into the KUBOTA.
The little kids find some swings........
and a PawPaw to push them.
Rachel cons Memaw out of a few flowers.
Mary and Adam try to figure out exactly HOW she does it.
Nothing like runnin' around barefoot in your drawers.
Memaw catches it all on film.
Adam trying to get PawPaw to take him on the KUBOTA.
The MIDDLE kids pushing the go-kart out of a hole..............
while the BIG kids sit and watch........
