Where IS That Stork, Anyway?

Well, Your guess is as good as mine!

We have been on the "waiting list" for some time.

Our 4-6 month wait turned to 6-9 months.

Our 6-9 month wait turned to 12 months.

So here we are.

12 months later- No word.

No one has any idea when we will receive our referral.
So... we are in the process of making some decisions.

Are we going to proceed with this Taiwan program?

Are we going to switch countries?

If we are , then what country?

Are we going to go back to China?

If we do, will it be in a Special Needs program ?

We are disappointed that we are not holding our son,right now.

We should have already been home.

Welcome to the World of International Adoption.

It is sometimes unpredictable.

But...As disillusioned as we are(at the moment), we still believe that this is God's plan for our family.

As crazy as our life seems to most people, we really do love it.

We will let you know what we decide.

Potty Training With The Teletubbies

We are potty training and Mary Elizabeth is tired of her Elmo panties AND
her Princess panties,AND her Curious George panties.

I know because she doesn't care if she wears them or not.
She'd rather wear the diaper.

I asked her if she wanted us to get her some Teletubbie panties.
She loves Teletubbies, so I thought,"We'll just get some of those."
Wrong!



Can't find Teletubbie panties. Probably because it is not 1998.
I get on Ebay!


No Panties...But they did have the Boy's Briefs!

Mary starts screaming,"TELETUBBIES!" at the top of her
lungs...So of course, Daddy buys them.


So this is what we have worn for the last 3 days.
Not the same pair,of course.

She shows her new underwear to anyone who will take a look.

I think she gets that from her daddy's people.

Are they working? Like a charm.

These pictures are SO going in the baby book!

Oh, well ! You do what you gotta do.

Oh, don't get me wrong.

I have actually sat in a chair and closed
my eyes- BUT it was because I was trying to remember what
I came into the kitchen to do OR where I put my car keys.

I do like the pink dress,though.

It's workin' for her.

American Idol on Sunday Night...

Yep! This is what we do on a Sunday night!


Stacy took the older kids to choir practice and slipped to the
TRU store and purchased a new Wii game. American Idol!


Randy calls everyone-DOG, Paula loves every song, and
Simon trashes you every chance he gets.


Stacy won! Of course, we think it was because
Rachel let him wear the "Good Luck Scarf"!*

U.B. FUNKEY

NO! I'm not calling you FUNKY!


It's the MACHO MAN'S Webkinz!


Ben was bummed because his sisters had Webkinz.
He wanted to play, but thought it was for girls.
Then he talked us into a U.B. Funkey. VERY child friendly.
They have about 12 different little guys that play around
-you guessed it-"FUNKEY TOWN". Some look like flowers, others like robots, an alien or two.
Of course, there are a few he CANNOT buy- like the "little devil", but he doesn't care.
So if you have a boy who likes the idea of Webkinz, but calls them"girly"- this is the thing!
TRU, Target, & Wally World.

They know that there is a good chance it is from Memaw and PawPaw.
It will be filled with all sorts of goodies and no-one has to share- everyone has their own.
